On the HOOT website you can create your own events or participate in events organised by others. You can join together in groups for these events and manage them. And you can keep inventory lists and use them to determine who brings which item of equipment to the event, either for consumption or for temporary use.

Do you want to make an event accessible to the general public? Then Public Events are the right choice! Public events are visible to all users on the HOOT website and can be visited by anyone. This means that you can reach a large target group. Whether it's a concert, a conference or a public meeting, Public Events allow many people to attend and get involved. It's a fantastic way to publicise your event and attract lots of participants.

Private Events

Would you like to organise an exclusive event? Then Private Events are just what you need! With Private Events, you can invite a closed group of people by giving them an invitation link. Only those who have this link can see and participate in the event. This allows you to closely control the guest list and create a private atmosphere for your event.

Contributions

How to create an event ?

To create an event, click on "Create Event" and fill in all the required fields. You also have the option of making further settings. You can change these at any time.

Can I cancel an event ?

Yes, you can delete an event if you want to cancel it. Although there is no specific "Cancel" function, you have the option to remove the event from the website by deleting it. This can be found in your event settings.

What's the maximum limit of an event ?

No limits! Let your imagination run wild and create events of any size on HOOT. There are no limits to the number of participants or the size of the event. Be creative and invite as many people as you like. The possibilities are endless! 🎉

How can I manage my inventory list ?

To manage your inventory, simply go to the relevant event or group and select the "Inventory" tab. All items that you or event/group members have added are listed there. You can edit the list as you wish, adding new items, editing or removing existing ones. This makes it easy to organise and keep track of your inventory. Enjoy managing your inventory list!
